J-Wheelz on the Argo
Took my Argo out to the seismic line trail about 10 km west of Yellowknife last summer but gave up early. Tried the trail this summer with a new set of J-Wheelz. The results were much more satisfying.

It’s a two part video. Part one shows the trail from the winch cam. Part Two features the J-Wheelz.

The annoying rattling sound is a can of insect repellent. The flashing artifacts are horse and deer flies.

Towing a stolen ATV near Banting Lake

My friend Stanley and I did a quick overnight trip up to Banting Lake late last summer with the intention of seeing whether or not my new Argo could pull an ATV out of the bush. I had seen the ATV on several hiking trips during the summer and had simply assumed it was broken down. We called the RCMP in an effort to locate the owner and were told it was stolen. Here are the two videos we made.
